Rushing Waters Amusement Park
Rushing Waters Amusement Park (RWAP) uses eight ScreenScape-powered screens strategically-placed around their 58 acre complex to help their guests get more out of their experience. Peter Ferrett is the general manager. When asked about their screen display Peter was more than willing to share.
"RushNet you mean? Yeah that's what we call it. Oh for sure, our ScreenScape-powered screen display has become indispensable. We've loaded it up with about a dozen standard slides which communicate to our guests some of the great features and services of our park. On a regular basis we update it with our event schedule. We subscribe to the local newspaper's news feed for regular news updates. And then there's the web cams".
"We've moved the screens to strategically placed locations where the line ups were the longest". says Peter. "I'm not sure that our line ups are any shorter. But I know that there are less complaints so the screens are doing something".
"We also use the screens to blast timely messages" says Ferrett. "Last call for breakfast at the cafeteria, fifteen minutes until closing, and that sort of thing. We've also had to use the emergency messaging feature on more than one occasion to get everyone out of the pools. We just jumped on the service and within seconds the screens were all playing the same announcement".
