Introducing ScreenScape How-To Videos

New to the ScreenScape Support Portal this week is our How-To video series, which we're really excited about. These videos, four to start, cover topics such as mounting your screen, setting up your display appliance, creating content and sharing content with the ScreenScape community. Keep an eye on this section as we plan to expand it with more videos not only about ScreenScape but helpful tutorials and information that can be applied to digital signage in general.

How to Identify a Stretched Display

It's easy to overlook a display that is stretched. After all, the content appears properly. However, with a stretched display you're not getting the most out of ScreenScape.

Get Poster Slide Templates

Check out our new library of template backgrounds. You can save any of these to use as a basis for creating poster slides. Just add whatever text you'd like over top of your choice of template using your favourite image editing software. Then, upload your new, customized image to ScreenScape by creating a Poster Slide Widget. These templates will give you a running start on making your display stand out.

Video cables and Recommended hardware

We just added a couple new articles to our Support Portal. Both of these articles were designed to help clarify some of the broader aspects of setting up your display. First, we looked at Video Cables and put together and article that collected some of our knowledge to make it easier to know what to look for when purchasing. Next, we set up a bit of a check list for the Hardware you will need for your display as well as some links off-site to get you started.
