Happy Holidays from the makers of ScreenScape! We are pleased to tell you that we will be welcoming the New Year by delivering significant improvements to our service.

During the first week of the new year (January 4-8, 2010), ScreenScape Networks will be rolling out a substantial update to its online service. This update will provide several benefits to our members and it will require some simple steps on your part to take effect.

In addition to several new usability features, this update makes ScreenScape better, faster, and stronger than before. Among other things, members logging in to the service after the update will notice:

  • More exact ordering of content using drag and drop playlists
  • An improved context-sensitive help system that uses a pop-up help box
  • Preview before you publish - YouTube and RSS
  • Improved Stability
  • Improved Performance
  • Enhancements to Offline mode, better bandwidth management (saving you $)
  • Increased display times for Sidebar messages

These immediate benefits are only part of the picture. This is an exciting step for us. Behind the scenes we have made a number of engineering changes that will help us to meet a rapidly growing customer base with diverse and far ranging needs. Generally speaking these improvements will help us to introduce new features at a faster rate. They also lay the groundwork for a variety of enhancements that will add significant value to your membership in ScreenScape. Watch for the features and benefits of the ScreenScape Community to grow significantly in the New Year.
