Silver Fox Golf Club
Stuart Griffin, manager of the Silver Fox Golf Club (SFGC) discovered ScreenScape when he participated in a regatta at the Crow's Nest Yacht Club (Crow's Nest).
He noticed how Crow's Nest used their own elegantly-styled screen displays in their lobby, lounge, and locker rooms to promote club events, deliver key logistical information, and share images of recent sailing parties - not to mention local news, sports and weather feeds.
Collaboration
The similarity of his own clientele with that of the Crow's Nest got Griffin thinking. These kind of people were very similar to his own membership at the Silver Fox Golf Club. A lot of the people he saw at the Yacht club would be interested in what was going on at his golf club, he thought. He brought up his idea to the manager of the Crow's Nest, who immediately pointed him to ScreenScape. Once he was all signed up Griffin created his own image-based advertisement for SFGC using ScreenScape slides. Next, by enabling him as a contact, the Crow's Nest was able to easily pull in Griffin's advertisement.
Professionalism
The system worked so well that Griffin immediately went out and set up his own screen display at his golf club with his own logo and his own custom colors. He has discovered a range of like-minded partners on the system that make sharing interesting content so easy. It's been fun to be able to post pictures of winning golfers on the screens and it wasn't hard to find great video tutorials readily available online to round out their own custom slides.
"It's been great altogether" Griffin says. "Ever since these screens have been around there has been a great buzz around the club. I see new faces around here all the time and our memberships have increased".
