ScreenScape is seeking a Java developer to assist in the development of its product.
- Requirements analysis.
- Provide input on level of effort.
- Application design and development.
- Unit testing, code review, and peer review.
- Technical documentation.
- Bug fixes and maintenance.
- 5+ years web development.
- 3+ years Java.
- 2+ years database development.
- Strong knowledge of object oriented concepts.
- Strong work ethic and a team player.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Experience developing Flash applications.
- Experience with ActionScript 3.0.
- Experience with Struts, Hibernate, and Spring.
- Experience with MySQL.
- Experience using Eclipse and Subversion.
- Experience with software-as-a-service.
- Experience with Agile techniques.

- Develop thorough knowledge of ScreenScape's custom software.
- Involved in project scoping and planning.
- Create, revise, and verify testing plans for each software development cycle.
- Execute testing procedures to verify the system meets functional and non-functional requirements.
- Write documentation to describe testing results and correction.
- Work directly with team members to triage defects.
- Establish quality standards and metrics.
- Perform trend analysis and identifies quality improvement opportunities.
- Identify and recommends procedures and workflow improvements.
- Contribute to end user training.
- Monitor system performance after implementation.
- Familiarity with web applications.
- Experience with bug tracking software.
- Ability to problem solve complex issues.
- Strong work ethic and a team player.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Comfortable working in an evolving role.
- Experience with test automation.
- Experience testing Flash applications.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies.
- Experience with Agile techniques.
