Wild Willy's Restaurants
Wild Willy's (WWR) is an up-and-coming chain of family restaurants located in the Pacific Northwest.
WWR provides an early example of how ScreenScape-powered screen displays can make for a powerful communication tool in a multi-venue setting. William Ramsay started WWR right out of college. He loves great food but retail marketing and communications is his core expertise. He feels that if he can find a hardworking, trustworthy partner in a local market, who happens to know how to cook, together they can develop the next successful franchise in the WWR chain. With eight successful restaurants in their fold it's hard to disagree.
What's special about Willy's is how the quality and branding of any given restaurant may carry a well-known stamp of approval, the menu items can be customized according to local tastes and preferences and the specialties of the local franchisee.
William learned very early on how he could use screens, which have dropped so dramatically in price in recent years, for a variety of marketing and promotional purposes. So, as a franchisee, when you buy into the WWR franchise you are buying a network-based communications program as well. That communications program extends to dozens of in-house screens powered by ScreenScape.
Each new franchisee uses their own personal ScreenScape account to develop their own custom screen display. By using ScreenScape's community-based networking each individual site is able to develop its own local program, utilizing its own community notice board and local news feeds. At the same time, William's team delivers professional content to the network through an account controlled by WWR corporate headquarters and this ensures a unified brand on every screen in every site.
The service promotes centralized promotional messaging and lends an air of professionalism to the entire chain. Centrally supported with local autonomy....just like Willy's itself.
