Snap Cameras
Every day more than a thousand people walk by the shop of Snap Cameras in the small city of Appleton, Illinois.
Create Demand
Camera buff and Proprietor Mackenzie Mitchell had a simple reason for wanting to use an automated display technology in his store front. He wanted to display the best of all the latest product demonstration imagery that was now readily available in digital formats. He knew that a few simple demonstrations of the new features and new capabilities of his product line would go a long way toward raising awareness and cultivating demand for his cameras.
Corporate Branding
He chose ScreenScape as an automated display technology so that he could set it up and know that rich dynamic content would flow intelligently just as he configured. Once he created a few of his own slides and branded the display in his company colors he used a web video widget to have manufacturer video display.
The service did wonders to catch the attention of passersby. It reminded people that Snap Cameras was a professional, full-service operation that could offer a lot more value than the big-box retailers that offered little or no product knowledge. Sure enough more people started to actually stop in and they would often remark about the display.
Automate
By subscribing to dynamic third-party sources, such as Internet feeds, Mackenzie doesn't necessarily have to re-configure his display updated on a daily basis. That said, barely a day goes by when he doesn't find a good reason to use it for marketing his growing business.
