Two new ways to experience ScreenScape

We wouldn't ask you to join the community without first showing you what it's all about. So this week we rolled out two new ways to experience ScreenScape before joining.

ScreenScape for Corporate Communications

ScreenScape's private beta testing phase has been helpful in more ways than one.    Among other things it has shown to us the broad range of applications our service has.    ScreenScape is already being used in dozens of unique ways.    An interesting example is that of corporate communications.  A number of businesses, both large and small, have chosen to use ScreenScape as a powerful company message board.  They see its ability to inform, educate and entertain employees, combined with its ease-of-use and flexible deployment options, as the right combination to roll out a back-office communication system.

CanTrust Financial Services

Let's take the fictitious CanTrust Financial Services (CanTrust) as an example.   Imagine that CanTrust is a regional provider of a suite of financial services with 400 employees spread across twelve venues.  They've used ScreenScape to power a number of displays at their headquarters and on location at their field offices to create a tasteful, professional corporate communications infrastructure.

Keeping each member of a 400 person team in coordination and well informed of the latest in corporate policy and procedure is not an easy thing.   The financial services business is ever changing and having access to the latest and most accurate company information is nothing short of a strategic weapon.   Where operator-driven computer terminals are primary means for giving employees a means to conduct business, display screens are a much more appropriate way to communicate reminders, policy changes, rewards, and staff events.

CanTrust uses their displays to

  • introduce new product offerings to staff
  • inform employees of company events
  • inform employees of individual and group accomplishments
  • recognize top performers and employee milestones
  • publish urgent messages

Street team building the community from the ground up

Across North America, more than seventy university and college students are sharing precious local knowledge by introducing the ScreenScape community to their neighborhoods. Street team members are visiting venues that naturally belong on the ScreenScape Network; these selected businesses and organizations recognize the value of Place-based Media 2.0 because they are already strongly connected to relevant offline associations, groups, and peers. With their fingers on the pulse of their towns and cities, who could reach and inform the future ScreenScape community better than local students? Their enthusiasm and results have energized ScreenScape's marketing efforts on all fronts.
