We're Venue-Oriented
If you operate a venue, ScreenScape is for you
We use the term venue loosely here, because ScreenScape is for everyone who needs to make screens simple. ScreenScape is a great tool for those of you who have any kind of need to inform, entertain, or educate a group. A venue could be just about any physical location where you might want to have a computer-driven screen display. ScreenScape is also useful as a marketing and promotional tool.
Check out our case studies for a few examples.

ScreenScape is an Internet service that makes it simple, and not only affordable but potentially quite lucrative, for anyone to operate their own public information display.
Creating a Screen Display is Easy
A screen display is our term for a dynamic multi-media experience made up of text, images, and video powered by dynamic sources of content. Our software makes it easy for anyone to create programming that harnesses the world of digital content in a custom tailored fashion.
We don't provide hardware. We rely on our members to provide their own network-enabled display screen. While bigger screens may be more effective in some situations, they really aren't that necessary unless you have a very large area where you want everyone to clearly see the display at all times. In most cases a simple 19-inch LCD monitor driven by a 5 year old computer with a good Internet connection is quite sufficient. This is what we call a display appliance. And yes they are getting cheaper and cheaper all the time.
While some members would choose to have several display appliances at their venue, or located at a number of venues, a single screen is often adequate.
With a display appliance all set and ready to point to a live display, it is ScreenScape's job to provide software and content services to make it come to life. By logging in to http://screenscape.net members of ScreenScape are provided with a display overview, a work area called MyDisplays, which uses playlists to create and manage a professional public information display featuring dynamic customized programming that draws on a range of original and third-party content sources. At any time you can add new items of content to your playlist and adjust the frequency by which an item should appear in a live display.
When satisfied with the playlists you've created you can publish your live multi-part presentation to a private online address (i.e. yourvenue.screenscape.net). By simply navigating to this unique address to use as a channel source, your public information display will automatically run, or play, the presentation you've created.
For the most part a public information display is physically set up only once. By using a web browser, once, to point a display screen to the web address of your published screen display you've done all you have to do to maintain that public information display remotely. The rest is done through our services at screenscape.net.
A world of content
You can change or customize your you displays as often as you like. The ScreenScape community offers many excellent opportunities to discover new content that can spice up your display.
Or, you can set it and forget it. We know you're busy and so we've made ScreenScape to be semi-automated. Configure your display to draw from dynamic sources of content. Then watch as only the new updates you've chosen are shown on your display automatically and on a timely basis.
